What was your inspiration?
I love antique textiles and so many of my original designs incorporate elements of old rugs or old quilts.
What are you most proud of?
Two of the three images shown here were of my original designs published by Create and Decorate magazine. Credit: Create and Decorate project photos are protected under current copyright of All American Crafts, Inc. Photographer credit: Sean OBrien
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is an easy-to-learn art form and is not expensive to get started in. It is portable, easy to do while you relax in front of the TV for the evening, or even riding in the car (not while driving, please!) No counting or measuring required. Just one stitch - when you get it, you got it. That's all!
