This is lovely. Could you share with us a little bit how you made this? Did you put in the leaf veins when the clay was set or dry? And did you make the central vein from syringe clay, or a really delicate little snake? You have combined some great techniques in this piece with an excellent result!

Thank you! i made the veins while wet, I used a piece of wire I bent, but when it dried I went over a few that were not that deep with a really thin bead reamer. The center vein I rolled out some left over clay, and used a really thin wet paint brush to smooth it out. Thanks to your tip I made some mushy paste with left over clay pieces to paste it to the leaf.

HI Jenny, i finally got my polishing paper, when i started to polish my leaf it broke. Any idea what i did wrong? Was it the drying time or the firing? Thanks.
