This is spectacular. I love the godets in the back. What a lovely detail. I'm curious about your leaf motifs. Were they written that way or are they upside-down? This is my current obsession with knitting lace sweaters top-down. I've been trying to figure out why patterns don't usually work out when you simply knit the chart from the top to bottom and have just resolved myself to choosing ones that look nice upside-down. But your leaves, especially the wider motif, look like they were designed that way. Please enlighten me!

Yes you are correct. I worked all the patterns in thier original orientation except the wider motif (twisted stem leaves), I had to rework that one so I could knit the pattern from top to bottom. This is so all the tips of the leaves would be pointing the same direction. I could not work or rework the other leaf patterns because of the increases/decreases and the changing stitch count to make the pattern. I had to move where I did the yarn overs. Instead of the yarn overs being by the stem, they are now at the tips of the leaves.

Thank you all for your wonderful comments. This was great fun! I got great inspirations and directions from Myra Wood. Love watching the video lessons and being able to review and have refreshers! I bought the needles she suggested and just love them! I used the crochet bind off and it makes the garment look great. Thanks! I am already thinking up a new one, but it will be a while before that one manifests since I have so many other CRAFTSY classes to watch and learn from. Having a great time! :)
