What was your inspiration?

A place to relax and listen to the relaxing sounds of the water. It's a great place to drink a cup of coffee every morning! I had always looked thru magazines and dreamed of such a place. I love that so many different types of wildlife have made this their home sweet home.

What are you most proud of?

Each and every rock was picked from the creek bed by hand and washed to prepare them. I placed them hoping to achieve a "natural" look, as if it had been there for years!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This project is alot of work, not difficult, just labor intensive. If rock is not readily available, it can be very expensive. It takes time for everything to come together and give the natural look.. These pictures were taken 2-3 years after the pond was completed. It definitely doesn't happen overnight!! But it's well worth it
