These came together beautifully. I've been keeping an eye on your choices all along and it is better that I could ever have expected. Hope you are as happy with it, as we are for being able to view it.

Boy I wish I could be there with you as you do this! Your blocks have so much movement. I'm sure you're having a lot of fun deciding. Even your 4 corner blocks can be rotated as you wish. Can't wait to see what pleases you most in the end! Keep it up - you're coming down the finish line!

Hi Jean -- Time has been filled and precious lately. Bachelorette Weekend (not me getting married... I'm the Matron of Honor) is now over -- so I am just about ready to get started. I've chosen my "shadow box" fabric; I've chosen my sashing fabric; I've chosen the final design and the border design... I'm just about ready to start finishing!

Sounds like you need a break Alyx - so take one! The wonderful thing about quilting (for me) is there are no strict deadlines to meet. I just enjoy the process and know you do too. So don't fret my friend. You're going to have a beautiful quilt - all in its own good time :D

Your designs are unique, the variations of the blocks are so fun to see, The colors are warm and I am so impressed with your "first" quilt. I too have my BOM to quilt, not quite ready yet.

Hi 4Bird -- Life has been hectic -- but I am getting *ready* to start the finish. (That's sounds funny: "start the finish:...)

I love how you did the block techniques but changed the design.

Thanks. There were a few blocks I did NOT do -- I didn't want the pointy/spiky blocks in my quilt. I did everything else!

You gave me an idea. I did some blocks 2 or 3 times and probably could make a fuLl quilt with what I have--doing the Not-yet-attempted blocks (spiked and drunkard's path) later. That would allow me to get on with my new projects. THANK YOU for the idea.
