Just a simple skein of yarn and my FujiFilm Camera

What was your inspiration?

The color of the yarn.

What are you most proud of?

I actually did pretty well getting a very close up shot at less than a foot away.

That 2nd shot is beautiful. I love the way the white fabric underneath is reflecting a little bit more of the light up. And you can see what I mean with that third shot how sometimes the camera wants to focus on the background and not the subject, eh?

Thank you Caro and yes, I agree the 2nd shot is much better than the first. I've been struggling with the focus of my camera. Like you mentioned, it wants to focus on the background and not the object I'm aiming at. Practice makes perfect though :)
