What was your inspiration?
I love these colors together and saw this stone for the first time a few years ago on a trip to Tucson. I bought some rough (uncut rocks), had them sliced and when I saw the pattern in the slice it just spoke to me.
What are you most proud of?
I cut, shaped and polished the stone myself! and set it too of course.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be careful! Lapidary is addictive (and expensive)!
