Here are some details about my project:
Category Quilting

What materials did you use? A Moda "Savonnerie" American Jane jelly roll with 2.5 inch squares of blue and yellow/orange connecting blocks between each strip and for the border and binding

What are you most proud of? I used Mimi's method of connecting the ends of the binding - a first for me - for a perfect connection and fit. Thank you, Mimi! I had been taught the folded end, tuck the other in, then stitch the whole thing closed by hand.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Doing a jelly roll throw was quick and easy. This was my first jelly roll race, which I machine quilted. It won't be my last either as I really like the finished product. Give it a try.

Really pretty! & I love the fabrics!

The fabrics are really interesting, and I love those small squares that absolutely "make the quilt"!

I really like how the blue and yellow are used for the squares and the borders... Really pulls the quilt together

How did you decide when you were going to sew the dark blue or yellow block? Was it ramdom or in a pattern sequence?

I alternated the blue and yellow blocks and as I sewed the strips together it ended up in this random looking placement.
