Instructions

I improvised on the border. I love this shawl and wear it often. The yarn is so soft for those who are allergic to wool, it is a great alternative. It has fantastic drape and is wonderful feeling on the body.

Berroco Comfort Sock. Dunedin colorway. Not sure of exact yardage. Purchased two skeins.

What was your inspiration?

I saw this shawl on Ravelry and fell in love with it. It is one of my favorites. The colorway is very striking in a subtle way. I love the way I can wrap up in it without it being overwhelming and bulky.

What are you most proud of?

The way I feel when I wear it. It's like a constant, gentle hug.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just have fun with the pattern and make it your own by adding an interesting border, beads, etc. To do over again, I would have used beads, at least on the border.
