What materials did you use? I used all kinds of colorful cotton print scraps from my quilt stash. Loved using the rusty reds, rusts, teals and browns, plus more.

What are you most proud of? I love my color choice and placements. I also love the quarter inch stitching that covers each piece, sometimes going in different directions.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? It is a fun tote bag to make, Tara teaches a great class. Just stay with it, the stitching takes the most time, I think.

Loved the challenge of making this pretty colorful quilt as you go tote. It was so much fun, and I recommend you take Tara's class. I would like to make another one a size smaller.

This tote was so much fun making. It was hard to stop sewing on it once I got started adding each piece of fabric and quilting it as I added. Good class, Tara. I will see what you offer next.
