What was your inspiration?
Laptop cases available at mass retailers are BORING! I wanted a unique, designer case with functionality. This case has a main compartment for the computer and a separate side pocket for charger, notes or accessories. With handles and a removable shoulder strap, I can carry my laptop anywhere in style!
What are you most proud of?
The pattern includes detailed instructions to customize the case to fit any size laptop or notebook computer. The calculations are super simple as is the construction of the case itself. It is fully lined and no exposed seams will be found. You can also make the case with extra pockets on both sides or a simple zip top with no pockets if desired.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be scared of the zipper! Never installed a zipper? No problem, if you can sew a straight line, you can make this case.
