Oh, I love your laptop bag. It would make a great gift for my friend, who has to tote hers around for work. How many uhs and ahs do you need to get you to make a tutatorial for it. Please , please, with lots of sugar. I read your story about the class and it was suppose to be a bathmat, but I am "work without a pattern" challanged. Thanks so much .

Love your quilting design. It adds so much texture to the fabric. Is there a pattern, or did you just design it as you worked? It looks very well constructed.

Thank you. We were in Alaska this summer and I took a class called "Cotton Theory" at a darling little quilt shop in Soldotna called Robins Place. It was supposed to be a little bath mat.

No pattern, sorry. I used a "quilt as you go" style and just made it to fit my computer. You could use a simple rectangle shape with thick padding and flannel lining - just add a zipper pocket and fold over for flap. Be sure to sew the handle in strongly.

Beautiful tote bag - I want to do more sewing projects but am limited by not having a sewing machine. So the projects I make are small so I can hand sew. I am assuming you used a sewing machine for this tote. I love the multi-colored fabrics or stitching around the bottom flap and surrounding the inner square - again, great work! Lisa
