What was your inspiration?
My Daughter got a new laptop and only had a plain case. She loves neon green and all things oriental, so the Koi was the motif of choice.
What are you most proud of?
So much more fun than a plain black laptop case. Easy and quck to make, fully padded to protect the laptop.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be creative in your choice of decor. If you don't want to embroider, why not a quilt block, trims, ribbons or flowers. Make a cool decorated motif a little larger than the solid side of the case then cut the pattern and construct.
The zipper installation is super easy, don't let the zipper scare you off!
