This project was made as part of a Craftsy workshop:
The iTote »

Instructions

I used the ITote instructions for making the pockets but everything else is pretty much my idea.

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Functional

For: Women

Style: Traditional, Classic, Preppy

Materials

Upholstery fabric, black cotton twill, fusible craft batting, swivel hooks, velcro.

What was your inspiration?

I wanted a more femine looking bag than I had found in the markets.

What are you most proud of?

It fits my computer perfectly!

It looks great, using the upholstery fabric is a great idea, it should hold up pretty well. I've been toying with some ideas myself, as I need to carry my laptop for work each day, and I want some different from the average joe's. You've done a good job, thanks for sharing.

Go for it! Its not that hard; just takes some thought to get the size right, etc.

Actually, I made two of these only they're different. The other laptop is smaller. The fabric is the same but its cut and pieced somewhat differently. I'll try to post pics of it also.
