Laptop Bag #2

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy workshop:
The iTote »

Instructions

I used the ITote instruction for the pockets but the rest is my idea.

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Functional

For: Women

Style: Preppy, Casual

Materials

Upholstery fabric, black cotton twill, batting, velcro.

What was your inspiration?

I don't like carrying my laptop in one of those purchased 'mannish looking' bags and wanted something different.

What are you most proud of?

This is the second laptop bag I have made as I have two computers for different purposes. For this one, I was able to use up all the scraps from making the first bag. Two good looking bags and NO WASTE!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just go or it!

Thank you. I wish I had made it a tiny bit larger as I forgot that I also carry my power pack with my laptop and its pretty snug with everything in the bag.

That sounds like the things I do.You can always call the first one a prototype and then proceed to make one that's absolutely perfect.
