Diaper Cake roll diapers into tight roll ans rubber band to hold together. Place an 8 oz baby bottle on a cardboard cake holders. Use double faced tape to attach bottle to base. You can fill the bottle with candies for mom if you want. Place several rolled diapers around bottle and rubber band into place with one lg rubber band. Keep adding diapers around until you have the bottom layer as large as the base. Then do another layer around the bottle, then attach another bottle and do a third layer using less diapers in each layer. This cake should take around 85 to 90 diapers more or less. Now take some wide ribbon and tack in place around the rubber bands thus hiding the rubber bands. You can tack in place with a dab of hot glue. Make some bows and attach to fromt or you can use flowers or whatever you want. What are you most proud of?
Actually getting it together without damaging any diapers!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Its much easier to put together if you have 2 people. One to hold the diapers in place while the 2nd person places the very large rubber band around them
