lamp parts/lamp kit, emptied bottle from your local ABC store with parrot image on front, white plain shade appropriate to accept paint, opaque paint markers, tracing paper, image of Jimmy Buffet's logo
What was your inspiration?
Friend who is a 'Parrot Head', or follows the music and career of Jimmy Buffet.
What are you most proud of?
Of course how it turned out but I am not sure I am 'proud' of this part: took a few liberties with logo - don't think I will be sued, just a peon myself - adjusted colors and some of design.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have all parts in front of your when starting or you will be exhausted getting up to go to store to get them! Always cut lamp on to see how it looks in the light, can be a huge difference. Like with any project, know when to stop and walk away, don't overdo it. His logo is very busy.
