What is exciting or interesting to you about your photo(s)? On a recent trip to the English Lake District I took loads of landscape shots in different weather conditions.

Can you tell us about any special equipment or techniques that you used? The panorama is a stitch of 17 portrait images processed in Photoshop. It produce a whopping 807MB tiff 26261 x 5817 pixels! The shots were handheld with a sweep of 180 degrees from right to left. The second image is taken with the camera balancing on a rock approx six inches off the ground to emphasise the height of the fells in the background. The third (cloudy) shot again is hand held and was processed in Lightroom and also using a plugin called Topaz Detail which was used to bring out the texture in the cloud, as it was otherwise a bit flat.

Nice pano!

Thank you - it's the first time I have tried one using hand held camera on its side as per your suggestion. Also probably overlapped slightly more than I have done in the past. Really pleased with the result.

I like how the clouds turned out ...good job bringing more out of them. I especially like the first panoramic photo though!
