What was your inspiration?

I decided to use my own artwork since I knew I could get the linework down quickly, and it was a drawing that I always liked.

What are you most proud of?

This is my first thread art project, and I'm quite happy with the way it turned out. I wasn't sure what to expect initially, but as I progressed further into the piece, I really enjoyed it. I will be doing more for sure!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Practice the thread work on a scrap before your piece so you get the hang of the sewing machine. This was my first hack at free motion sewing, and many of my lines were off. If that happens to you, do what I did and just go with it. You might get something unexpectedly beautiful.

You have done a wonderful job. This piece is gorgeous. I hope you continue with these techniques and make more Thread Art Pieces. This piece has the WoW factor and I am sure you can make more of the same.
