What was your inspiration?
This was a custom jacket made for a client of mine! She loved it!! the fabric spoke to me and I just looked at different fabrics to find the right eyes, mouth, etc...and just let it evolve from there... I will be teaching classes in my sewing room on this techinque..so if you live in Calgary... or have sykpe drop me a line...
What are you most proud of?
I love the eyes on my lady! The photo does not show the glimmer you get from the fusible gems that were added ...
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Pull out lots of different fabrics and start looking at your fabric differently!
