What are you most proud of? I found the Lady Bug at an offbeat fabric store here in Tucson called SAS. It's basically a big room full of enormous cardboard boxes stuffed full of all sorts of fabrics thrown together, and many other unusual little goodies like the lady bug. It think the red lights up the business-like black and white tweed with a bit of fun.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use lots of pins. The curved edges can get away from you.

How did you get one side to stand up?

The upcycled skirt fabric was a bit stiff and it's lined with quilting cotton, so it stays up pretty well if I just pull it.
