Pattern can be found in the Summer 2010 "Interweave Knits" magazine. Also, I needed to purchase the mesh canvas and handles online due to their unusual lengths and I could not find them in any knitting and/or craft stores near my home. What was your inspiration?
The fabulous variation of patterns plus the pleats were something I've never attempted before. Lastly, once I found the yarn, I fell in love with it...sorry - can't resist when name of the yarn is called "Love It". :-))
What are you most proud of?
That the satchel came out PERFECTLY, in my opinion.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Find a yarn that you love the feel of - it will make the project move along quickly because you are not going to want to put the knitting down!
