Materials

Either DK wt or Sport wt. is recommended. Sport wt makes a slightly more narrow scarf. You will need approximately 580 yds. for DK and 650 for Sport wt. Samples shown uses Zealana - eco, Storm Grey, DK wt., 80% merino/20% alpaca, 146 yds/50 gr. 4 balls required. Dark scarf uses Brown Sheep sport wt.

What was your inspiration?

I wanted to create a scarf that covers the head as well as surrounds the neck.
It can be worn down around the shoulders and upper back too.

What are you most proud of?

This is both practical and elegent.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

The lace pattern will become familiar after working it a few times.
