Instructions
I began the cape with several rows of straight knitting and then divided as for a neck down cardigan until over the shoulder area (using the dress dummy as a guide), and then using the lacey pattern for the remainder. I picked up 6 stitches each side of the neck band for the knitted ties. There was no sewing, only a few loose threads to hide.Difficulty:

I used Lion Brand Yarn, Baby Soft, Sportweight, as it is to be donated for a nursing home patient.
What was your inspiration?
The Perfect Fit Seamless Crazy Lace Cardigan was the inspiration for this cape. I have made several of different plain styles, never used a lace pattern before, thinking it would take too long or be too difficult. But was able to make this in about two weeks.
