What are you most proud of? really proud of how the lace turned out on the cake ,i had attempted to try before the course but was doing it wrong ,,i am self taught so every task is an achievement i had some many people compliment me

What advice would you give someone starting this project? listen to the advice given, and experiment first on dummies before you attempt to do things on real cakes then you will be more confident about it ,i spent ages looking at the cakes before i actually went ahead and did them

Absolutely stunning cake! I love the lace but the look of pleating on the bottom is outstanding. Extremely well done! Be proud of yourself.

thankyou so much, the pleated look i did by using the veining tool while the fondant was fresh on making lines outward to the board and found it made a nice effect
