Pretty pleased with how these turned out (esp. being my 1st try at socks). Used size 2 needles on the foot/heel and size 3 on the ankle up. I decided to extend the length so it hit over my knee. Probably need to add some elastic behind the ribbing so they stay up. I also decided to leave out the diagonal lace pattern right before the ribbing.

How many skeins did you use? How many grams? How many meters?

I used up 3 skeins of Knit Picks Stroll Sock Yarn. If I had a 4th skein I probably would have extended the ribbing a bit

Well these look wonderful on you! Great job making them long over the knee. I now know that I can make them for my daughter and daughter -in-law and grandchildren. Much to my surprise, I have old lady legs. That was a shock!!!

Love your socks. Now thinking about if I have enough yarn to do the same thing... :)
