What are you most proud of? The feeling of accomplishment. It just feels good to see something concrete that you made.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Dont be shy and just dive in. It is not a hard project. Just pay attention to the instructions and do not do what I tend to do which is watch TV , have a conversation and knit all at the same time. Multi tasking does not bode well for any knitting project. lol

this shawl is beautiful but the picture should be on a lighter background to show it off better. The carpet with plaid and in blues also blends in too much so that you can't see the shawl. I would love if you could take the the time to reshoot it.

I agree completely. The background is very distracting and takes away from the shawl.

I just love this shawl! I'm adding it to "must make" list! I've just discovered lace shawls thru Laura Welkin's class! So much fun while being a challenge!

Sorry! Laura Nelkin! Damn you, autocorrect!

I can not wait to cast on this week; hoping it will be today. Just about to complete my very first lace project. This will be the ideal next project, hoping to get to Craftsy Lace Class project soon.

This one is taking a bit more time than I anticipated. Because the pattern is relatively easy, I thought I had it in the bag. Next thing you know the spine is off kilter ... i did this a few times... a lot of work to go back 5 or 6 rows... so now i am very, VERY vigilant so I dont make any more mistakes. The yarn I am using is pretty but is tough to unravel as it is a bit plushy and sticks together. I cant wait to finish though. another stash of yarn just arrived and I am ready for the sock class.
