What was your inspiration?

I saw a pendant on Etsy made from a birch disc and a vintage doily. I used that as a starting point and took it my own direction.

What are you most proud of?

I always get compliments when I wear it! :)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It would be easy to make a bunch of these at the same time to give as gifts.

Love your idea and outcome. Since I can do bobbin lace I could make a small pattern to suit any base. Lack of suitable materials in our market (i live in Athens, Greece) makes it necessary to improvise most often. So for lack of a wooden base I guess I could use a flat thin pebble, but I am at a loss what is mod podge and mod podge dimensional magic. Could you please help? Thank you.

Mod Podge is a commonly used brand of decoupage glue in the USA. Mod Podge Dimensional Magic works like resin...it creates a thick hard coating. Hope this helps!

Lovely pendant. I would have never thought to do something like that. You are so creative.
