What was your inspiration?

My hands are always cold, so I love fingerless gloves. I wanted some in a delicate lace yarn for just a hint of warmth. The open lace pattern matches the scarf I had already made, so both my neck and hands get to stay warm in style!

What are you most proud of?

I love the detailing around the thumb gusset.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make sure to take the time to check your gauge. These are knit at a significantly tighter gauge than usual for lace knitting. You want them to have negative ease, so that the lace pattern opens up when you wear them.
