Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Entrelac Knitting »

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Clothing

For: Women

Style: Cute, Hipster, Romantic, Casual

Materials

Twisted Fiber Art - Queen Evolution

What was your inspiration?

Like all my class projects, I wanted students to learn new things. This cute cape features incorporating lace into entrelac, decreasing entrelac (for shaping), working entrelac flat with both side triangles and rectangles to form the button tabs and a niffy edging.

What are you most proud of?

It was my first cape, so I am glad it turned out so well!!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

If you work through the course step-by-step, you will find that it is fun project to work on. And it gets faster as you work toward the top!

The yarn is just beautiful - I'm looking forward to doing this one soon with a variety of colors that should blend well, I hope.

All of my patterns listed on Craftsy are all entrelac, so there are several options there. You can also check out my book, Entree to Entrelac.
