What materials did you use? Wedding dress: tulle, silk satin and two different alencon laces. Maid of honour dress: polyester taffeta and chantilly lace with metal threads.

What are you most proud of? Wedding dress: The belt; it took 10 hours to make. And the combination of the two laces, I cut out all the different shapes ans silhouettes, it required lots of patience! And then I used safety pins to pin them to the lace skirt and the satin corset. This way I made my own lace :) I sewed them on using a see through thread, much like a super thin fishing thread. This thread does not show so you can sew criss cross as much as you need without destroying the design. All this work made me realize I deserved to use the term "haute couture" :)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? When working with layers of tulle requires a working/cutting table. It must be at least 2x1,5 meters and the hight that is comfortable for you to work with. Pin every layer to the table(plastic table cloth) and cut all the layers together. Safety pins when making your own lace is a must!! Ordinary pins fall out.
