Instructions

Here is a nicely reversible scarf in a beautiful organically flowing design. An easy trellis lace stitch combines with interwoven lattice of textured knit-purl spot cables that appear to be floating.

What was your inspiration?

I wanted to show off the Tilli Tomas metallic-enhanced yarn plied with tiny glass seed beads to best advantage in a one-skein reversible scarf.

What are you most proud of?

The cable and lace pattern stitch I concocted is both reversible and has lovely undulating self-shaping edges.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

For a 7" by 56" scarf, plan for 325 yards lace weight or light fingering weight yarn. 25 stitches/4 inches over stitch pattern, size US 5 / 3.75 mm needles suggested. Both charted and line-by-line written stitch instructions are provided in the pattern.
