What was your inspiration?
I am learning to use my long arm. I LOVED Kimmys class. I have tried free motion quilting from several teachers and I have bee frustrated that my feathers look boxy and weird Working with the templates I finally was able to stitch smooth curves. Thank you so much!
What are you most proud of?
I love the curved cross hatching
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This quilt top was made by a friend but I've sewn the pattern too. It has a lot of large pieces of fabric so it goes together relatively quickly. A design wall is very helpful to keep the pieces straight and in order as you join them together.
