What was your inspiration?

My mom found the pattern. We hope to make the queen as a gift for someone. I wanted to see how it was pieced together. Pretty easy with half square triangles and solid squares. I had enough fabric to do the lap size top, so decided why not?

What are you most proud of?

The points came together so nicely! Have some pictures of a couple points on my plog post http://bunchoberries.blogspot.com/2012/06/labyrinth-lap-quilt-top.html

This is the fastest I have done a quilt top (about 1 week give or take a few days I did not work on it) and it was only about 1-2 hours a day during my son's nap time!

This is also the first layout/designed quilt top. not a sampler. I love it!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It is so easy! mind your lining up the points by the little triangles created by the seams, I had to press the seams differently than directed by the pattern. It did not work out so well with the light yellow part of the pinwheel in the center. So I had to modify that. Use your talent and instincts and it will look beautiful for you too! :)
