What are you most proud of? My mother loves it! And it looks great on her bed. I tried to make each flower unique (there are 68 of them plus 4 more on the pillow covers), but it ended up that there are two identical ones on the quilt. The game now is to find the two that are exactly alike!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The center part was very easy to piece, but placement of the flowers and leaves and the stitching around them was a big job. The flower stamens were also stitched in by machine using black thread.

Gorgeous! You used so many techniques with all the applique, scalloped border, I just love it. Great inspiration.
