What was your inspiration?
The base of the bangle was inspired by the tall imposing arches of Spanish cathedrals. I really wanted to capture that shape. I then embellished it to create a thick bangle with a really beautiful convex shape.
What are you most proud of?
The sturdiness of the weave and the comfort of the bracelet. They feel really good when worn and I love stacking them!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't feel overwhelmed by the intricacy of the bracelet. It is actually very simple to make when broken down into steps and because it is so repetitive, once you've created one, you'll want to create more!
