What materials did you use? Suggested materials from this class (ie; Dot On)

What are you most proud of? I wasn't happy with the quilt from this class, although I learned a lot, so had to come up with an idea to finish for Christmas and decided on this one.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Keep going, you really learn a lot of interesting techniques.

Love the way you've framed the stars and the simple 3 color choice. Stuck with a block you like? Well that says a lot about your skills DeGramma. I dare say most of us really struggle with these blocks. Well done - one of your best!!

Thanks so much.......have to give credit to the long arm quilter I sometime use from my local shop.....when I was stumped, she suggested picking out one of the blocks I liked best and replicating it into a whole quilt! Brilliant, so that's what I did. Your opinion means a lot to me WasaNewbieJean, love all your work :)

....also decided to snowball the large blocks to break up the solid white (trick I learned from Jenny of MSQC) and it made a nice difference

I love how you've made this in to a quilt. Are your squares the same size as in the BOM tutorial or did you change the size? And are you able to tell me what the finished size or your quilt was please? Am thinking of doing this for my son.

Yes, my blocks are the same size as in the BOM quilt, I just reversed the fabric fro interest and snowballed the corners because there was too much white....came out pretty good I think. ;)
