What was your inspiration?
The pattern is so beautiful. I love all the cables. And I also loved the colors in this heathered yarn. I thought the yarn would compliment the pattern well. And it's a great color and design for the fall season. I also love the fact that pattern flows all the way to the top of the hat.
What are you most proud of?
The fact that it only took me 3 days to do it!! YAY!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time and read through all the instructions before you start. There is a lot of cabling. If you get off even one stitch, it completely messes up the pattern. This is a great pattern for practicing cables without using a cable needle, this technique will cut your time down a lot.
