Thank you so much!

Yes Damsel, I haven't in a while because using the double pointed needles intimidates me and most of the things I want to make says I have to use them. Grrrrrrrr. I've made some blankets, vests, shawls, etc..something I can use straight needles for.

If you have made all those wonderful things sewbug, this will be a piece of cake for you!

When you purl to the last three, turn and knit back....what do you do with those last three?

11/17/2013 Flag

When you pearl to the last 3 stitches, you turn knit back and that is row 4. Then go on to row 5 and knit,6,7,8, pearl.

Yes, I read that on the pattern. But if you turn and go back the other way you leave 3 "dangling" stitches. Also if you do this 9 times you end up with a triangle that will not cover one ball much less two. I love these as they look like some my mom had in the late 70's, early 80's. What am I doing wrong? I can manipulate the pattern and make it work but prefer to do it the correct way. Thank you

With those last 3 stitches, turn your needles, the needle with 3 stitches should be in your right hand, Knit the remaining stitches on the left needle. now you have completed row 4. Knit row 5, pearl rows 6,7,8. Hope that helps!
