What was your inspiration?
My kids wanted knitted mittens this year for Christmas. I have wanted to try them and found them to be pretty easy.
What are you most proud of?
When my oldest son saw the finished mittens he said, " How did you do that? They look like something you would buy at the store." That made me feel pretty good.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Start with the simple patterns before you go for the fancy ones. Once you have made a couple pairs it will give you the confidence you need to be more creative.
