What materials did you use? Wooden beads are covered with fingering weight yarn. Swarovski accents are used in between the beads.

Well how much fun is this?? What a great shape of bead and I love all the colors you used. It's hard to tell from the photo, so did you cinch the wrappers around the beads or are what appear to be the vertically knit in-the-round wrappers secured to the wooden beads in some other way? The Swarovski accent beads are a terrific touch. I really like the contrast between the bling and the texture of the yarn. Well done!

Hey Betsy and Kitts, Thanks for the comments. I loved making this necklace and will be wearing it at Stitches West. I made little wrappers in the round, so it was super simple and super fast. Tish

Can't wait to see it for real! See you in Santa Clara. :-)

I WAS actually able to meet Tish at Stitches West and see this necklace in person. If possible, even prettier than in the above picture! Great job!

Betsy, I was so thrilled to meet you in person. I received a lot of complements on my necklace and quite a few knitters told me that they'd use the free Craftsy class Stitches offer to enroll in your class. Cheers! Tish
