I'm in the middle of making this now, and I have a question about the ears; the pattern says "place a running stitch along the open edge. Pull up on running s titch to gather ear". I'm not sure waht you mean by "along the open edge" - should I sew all around, or through the two layers? Many thanks for a wonderful pattern! Best wishes Sue

Sew through the two layers, so that when you pull up on the running stitch to gather the ear, it will gather as in the picture. So glad you are enjoying the pattern. :)
