What was your inspiration?

found this pattern & wanted to try it out, had a stash yarn that matched Meg's birthday Hat & scarf, my sister, who was in town visitng, admired them and mentioned that she could use a pair for outdoor art shows where the weather is cool, she is a wonderful photographer and makes amazing jewelry using her photos, so i ran her up a pair in an afternoon- as you can see from the photo, she loved them!

What are you most proud of?

how easy they are not only to make, but to adjust, i cast on less stitches for Meg, who is about to be 11 and slightly less than the pattern called for for my sister, who like me, has small hands-

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

make use of the basic pattern and adjust it if necessary!

i used a size 6 needle, i think if you use a normal worsted weight, you might have to go up a needle size-
