What materials did you use? Knit Fabric; jelly elastic tape; knit interfacing. Used serger, coverstitch machine, and regular machine.

What are you most proud of? I made two "samples" with cheap knit fabrics and made numerous adjustments based on the class. This was my first project using jelly elastic at the shoulders; knit interfacing at the neck; and a cover stitch machine. I used the chain stitch as a top stitch on the seams and the cover stitch for hemming the sleeves and the hem.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Unless you are sure of the pattern size, make a sample first. This is especially important if you don't have a fitting partner--which I didn't!
