What are you most proud of? It doesn't look too awful :)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Check measurements - my first shirt was too small (knit didn't stretch much); I went up a size with a more stretch knit, and then it was a bit big. I think the "V" neck is a bit too low.

Hey this looks really nice! Did you use a cover stitch or twin needle for the trim around the V-neck?

I used the coverstitch to hem sleeves and bottom (after pressing), and then to topstitch around the ned.

"neck" that is :) I didn't get a sharp "V" of stitching....someone on pattern review suggested starting and ending at V. Hadn't thought of that....may try next time, but then would worry about having a broken stitching line to tie it off.

Thank you for your kind comments.

Looks like ready-to-wear. Like the topstitching on the v-neck.

Looks fantastic! I just made one from a big old men's t shirt I got at Walmart, and it's quite tight, and I went by my measurements. I dont't think it had enough stretch, either. Hey, we are all learning here :)

You did a great job. It looks very comfortable, great fit. Thanks for sharing.
