What was your inspiration?
My Terriers Katy and Penny were getting old and they needed sweaters to keep them warm. Unfortunately, Katy passed away at the age of almost-17 in June 2011 and Penny left us at the age of almost-18 in May 2012. We miss them both very much.
What are you most proud of?
Katy's Purple Striped Sweater won Best Of Show at the 90th Annual Los Angeles County Fair in August 2012! Though she was never a show dog, she had a wonderful Terrier spirit and was very photogenic. It's very fitting that she won this honor!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Knitting sweaters for our beloved companions is surely a fulfilling labor of love!
