What was your inspiration?

I was inspired by Egyptian textiles and colors in a museum in Pittsburgh. I found the perfect self-striping yarn to make leg warmers MADE ON TWO NEEDLES. These leggies make excellent leg warmers and/or boot spats,

What are you most proud of?

The self striping yarn was so easy to use and embellishing them just a bit made all the difference for my boots. These can also be worn as leg or slouchy ankle warmers.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Always read through the pattern and directions before beginning any project. When substituting yarn alway choose yarn of similar weight and remember to check your gauge. You might also want to measure the persons leg that you are making them for if you are unsure of size. The yarn I used has some stretch to it.
