Malabrigo Merino Worsted, Chapel Stone and a tiny bit of Paris Night, US size 7 needles

What was your inspiration?

I've been playing with welt stitches- this is the second in a series (the first being A Hat for Eudora.)

What are you most proud of?

I like that it sorta slouches itself! Sometimes so called slouchy hats misbehave and don't want to slouch, but the welts force this one into submission.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Watch the video tutorial to help you do the welt stitch (which is sort of a weird thing, but not hard.)
