What materials did you use? I folded a Deco magazine. I then cut up an ad that had been inserted in the magazine to make the cat. It was of a heaver paper and worked well. To finish the project I hot glued the cat to the folded magazine. I love paper and have been using it in many forms when I visit a school with as a visiting artist. I had many home deco Magazines which I thought might work to try a folding project and get use to this process. I found at 200 pages it was not full enough and that is when the cat idea started to take shape.

What are you most proud of? I do up programs for students and finding a different way to use paper and do this is great.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? My folds are different then Alton's. I would have preferred his and then the cat wold have had a neck but I did this in my studio and my computer is upstairs. Sorry Alton I could not take you with me. I tell my students mistakes make you think a little more and just lead you to a different and sometimes a more interesting outcome.
