Wow! Lots of work for you! This was a new concept for me, but I have to say, after finishing my last 2 projects this way, it really DOES make a difference.

Status- I am still ESS'g !! I might say about half way, but it seams (pun intended) endless. , It looks really good and I haven't even started to quilt it. My stitching in the ditch is also getting so much better. Thanks again for the encouragement.

I made a huge quilt and did ESS. It made a big difference in my quilting. All I did was a bunch of pebbles and straight line stitches. My guild asked me to put it in the show! So the ESS, in my opinion, is what made it better.

Thanks for the encouragement! I finally finished the ESS'g, it looked great. Not always the straightest stitching, but it disappears when you step back. My daughter wanted a scrappy quilting to match the scrappy quilt, so I am getting some great practice in.

What is ESS??

Per Cindy Needham, it's Every Stinking Seam. So every seam gets stitched in the ditch. I highly recommend taking her Craftsy class!
